Crackle Slice

Makes 12 slices. Ready in 1 hour.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups natural puffed rice

  • ½ cup shredded coconut

  • ½ cup coconut oil

  • ¼ cup rice malt syrup

  • ¼ cup cocoa power

Method

1. Line a baking dish with baking paper.

2. Combine in a bowl natural puffed rice, shredded coconut and cacao powder.

3.  Add coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl, add to microwave on high for 45 seconds until melted. Add to the bowl and combine well.

4.  Add honey and peanut butter to bowl and mix.

5. Spoon mixture to the baking dish, stirring continuously to keep from setting.

6. Place in the fridge for one hour. Cut into slices then store in an air tight container.
