Turmeric Porridge

Serves 1.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup milk (your choice!)

  • 2 teaspoons turmeric

  • 2 tablespoons vanilla Greek yoghurt

  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

  • 1 banana

Method

1. In a microwave friendly bowl combine oats, milk and turmeric.

2. Cook uncovered in the microwave on high power for 1 minute. Take out and stir.  Cook for a further 1 minute until thick and creamy. Repeat for an extra 30 seconds to 1 minute if needed.

3. Add Greek yoghurt and mix well. Slice banana and place on top of porridge, sprinkle with chia seeds and serve.
